The Application Process
The Wilkes Center for Climate Science and policy is currently accepting first round applications until January 31, 2023.
Round 1: 'Pitch'
During this stage, applicants will submit a high level pitch of their idea. Once submitted, applications undergo a thorough evaluation process. Those that qualify will move to the next round.
Round 2: 'Proposal
Applicants will submit a detailed proposal to support their first round pitch.
Round 3: 'Presentation'
The top 5 applicants from the previous rounds will be invited to present their idea to our panel of national judges at the Wilkes
Summit on May 16, 2023.
Wilkes Center Climate Prize Selection Committee
The Wilkes Climate Prize submissions will be reviewed and considered by some of the sharpest minds in the scientific and sustainability fields today. The top prize will be awarded to the idea with the most scalable impact, the most feasible concept, and the solution most likely to benefit communities, economies, or ecosystems.
