Lacey Bishop
Graduate, Environmental Humanities
I am a M.A. candidate in the Environmental Humanities program, from Port Townsend, WA, and attended undergrad at Pacific University, where I studied art history, sociology, and criminal justice, focusing on the social and environmental impacts of industrial agriculture. Currently I continue to work with Foodways at Nana Cardoon in Oregon, where we educate and are active in establishing sustainable food systems in Washington County. In my studies at the University of Utah, I aim to shift the discourse towards regenerative agriculture, emphasizing its role in fostering resilient communities. When not studying, you’ll find me in the mountains, enjoying trail running, hiking, skiing, and rock climbing.
